Miralles at School
Miralles a l’Escola presents Enric Miralles’ academic work as a teacher, both in Barcelona and abroad. A crucial facet of his architecture and practice, which whilst seminal to the architect’s foundational legacy and international influence has been until now poorly documented. The ecxhibtiion covers the numerous stages of Miralles’ academic career, across a European and global scale. Included work spans Miralles expansive academic legacy from his professorship at the Barcelona School of Architecture ETSAB, in 1984, to his teaching at Harvard University, with the Kenzo Tange Chair in 1992. This exhibition is curated by Carme Ribas and Ton Salvadó and you can visit at ’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura (ETSAB).
Miralles a l'Escola is part of the MIRALLES tribute made possible with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya through their Departments of Presidency, Culture and Territory and Sustainability, in collaboration with l’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura (ETSAB), the Col·legi Arquitectos de Catalunya (COAC) and the architecture studio Miralles Tagliabue EMBT.
