EMBT’s work is not in serie, it should not be understood through variants, they are not individual projects, but are one big object broken down into various places, situations, times, materials, styles and moments.
Inspiration and Process in Architecture has as starting point the furniture designed by Enric Miralles for Enric and Benedetta´s home, the working base where his creativity and ingenuity was materialized. The displays show the continuity of the creative process that Benedetta Tagliabue has maintained leading the EMBT studio, through different tools and ways of representation, by applying discreet codes, repetitions and dialogues with the studio origins and the present.
The projection of perspectives, the decomposition of an object on paper, its distortion through collages and its physical construction generate a constant conversation that unifies the fragments of different projects in parts of a unique narrative.
