Light, Design and Quality of Life.
This exhibition, organized in collaboration with BOVER Barcelona for the Barcelona Design Week 2018, tries to answer the question: How does light influence the quality of life of people?
The exhibition includes some of the projects of the Miralles Tagliabue EMBT architecture studio in which light has and has had a very important role:
- Kàlida Center Sant Pau
- Dome Love IT – Copagri Expo 2015 Pavilion
- City Hall of Utrecht
Also, some BOVER design lamps are exhibited, one of which designed by Benedetta Tagliabue, the DOME: the realization of these light sculptures is entirely handmade and is carried out entirely in the facilities of BOVER Barcelona. More than 170 fragments are needed to compose this great mecca of small and large pieces of wood, wisely interlaced and sewn one by one by the expert hands of those who know well the manual trade that requires the preparation and care of all products made in tape.
In addition, the exhibition has the following collections:
- Amphora Collection
- Atticus Collection
- Cornet Collection
- Drip / Drop Collection
The exhibition can be visited from M-F from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm, until July 30, 2018.
