The personalities behind the big names. Conversations without the myths.
Many know the works of the great architecture firms and, however, very rarely do you have the opportunity to meet the people behind them. It will be precisely this, the personal and professional autobiography, the trajectory, influences and most important experiences of renowned architects, which can be known by the attendees of the “Architects, not Architecture” event.
Speakers are not allowed to talk about their work but their own biography will be the protagonist of the afternoon, which indirectly sheds light on their work.
The event arrives in Barcelona for the first time after the popularity reached in Germany since 2015 with editions in the most important capitals of the country, where it was initiated by the architect from Elche, Fermín Tribaldos, with a format as simple as direct. In Barcelona, there will be three architects, including an important international guest, who will leave aside the built work, despite the wide international recognition accumulated by the three, to talk about what is behind their success:
Benedetta Tagliabue, co-founder EMBT, www.mirallestagliabue.com.
- Andrés Jaque, founder Office for Political Innovation, www.andresjaque.net.
- Sir Peter Cook, co-founder of CRAB Studio, www.crab-studio.com
